Living beautifully

I have been lost in countless number of reveries and they occur during daytime, something otherwise known as “daydreaming,” I guess most of us, at a point in our lives,
too, have been caught up in this state; imagining our lives at its best-after all, what are we without the ability to imagine”?

I think Mohammed Ali was right when he said

“The man with no imagination has no wings.”

Imagination is the portal through which enter into another world different from ours, without it, we cannot experience life fully I’d say.

However, can we actually live out those dreams in our imagination?can our lives be pleasant and comfortable as we want?
Roman Payne says that we must give everything to make our lives as beautiful as the dreams that dances in our imagination.
This means that giving life everything we’ve got is the only way by which we can achieve our desired dreams.

1. We need to embrace the reality that there is no such thing as a totally convenient and comfortable life. I scoff, when I imagine the kind of life
I dream about whenever I’m lost in a reverie; an affluent-problem-free life and a ceaseless afflatus to navigate life’s tawdry thoroughfare-not
because one cannot live affluently, but because there’s no such thing as a problem-free life, I guess that’s part of what makes us humans-difficulties.

2. We need to stop dreaming and start working, toward our dreams.

Now, here is a quote from Henry David Thoreau “I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavour.”
Our dreams can only become realities by conscious endeavours.

To make our life as beautiful as the dreams that dances in our imagination requires deliberate efforts; efforts that are consistently made,
well planned out and meaningful.
Our lives are only going to be as beautiful as our efforts, if we don’t strive; we cannot thrive.

  1. Dear Festus, that last statement resonates with me.
I’ve been “presumptuous ” enough to rearrange the punctuation because it confused me the way you did it. Here is it.
Atiba Festus:” Our lives are only going to be as beautiful as our efforts; IF WE DON’T STRIVE, WE CANNOT THRIVE.” That’s the way I’ve recorded it in my Growth Journal. Thanks for blessing the world with your thoughts!
